William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1165)	Hi. We are trying out the PLCSIM software for TIA V13. We can activate inputs to trigger outputs in a simple program without issues. The next step was to have a time delay. INPUT -- TON --(OUTPUT) The timer (IEC type with external DB call) however does not seem to run. Can a timer be simulated? What is the functional (coding) limitations of PLCSIM? Thank you. w

Thank you. w Hello William B. , PLCSIM (for S7-300/400) supports system function blocks for IEC timers.Check them HERE.The problem, you have mentioned in known and discussed both in English and German conferences: SFB4 IN PLCSIM V5.3 The solution would be a Hotfix or an update! William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1165)	Thank you for the replies. The software is PLCSIM V13 linked to TIA V13 simulating an S7-1500 PLC. To me it also seems as though the TON (IEC type) can not be simulated. Please confirm this for the setup a describe above.. thank you. w
