This is a powerful tool, and everything seems correct except one thing: With the CPUDiag tool, all the informations are correct except for the INTF led that never switch on! My CPU is correctly diagnosed except this Led that never go in INTF mode! I use it with 11 CPU in my project and the problem is on every CPU! How is that possible to understand the corresponding DB to see if the information in the S7 program is false or if there is something wrong with the activeX? I really need help... Wüstenräuber HARDWARE: CPU 416-2 for most of them, 416-3, 416F-2 FIRMWARE: V5.1.1 QCPU_STATE: i would like to do more tests and go further in the CPUSTATE variabe, but no time to do this today, sorry... only 3 cases on all my CPU's: 16#71 : INTF is ON on the CPU <-> OFF on System Diagnose ( EXTF is ON on CPU and S D) 16#51 : INTF is OFF on both CPU and SD ( EXTF is ON on both CPU and SD) 16#11: INTF and EXT are OFF on CPU and SD So my problem is with CPUSTATE= 16#71... Does this state mean that th CPU is INTF? if it is not the case the problem comes from S7 and in the other case from WinCC/System Diagnostics Really thank a lot for your helpWüstenräuber See U

Hi Profete162,
the state 71 is correct if the INFT is ON => The state is read out from CPU correctly. It seems that the OCX doesn't show the information correctly.
Did you try to delete the OCX in your WinCC picture and then insert and parameterize new? If not, I would do it.

You could write and attach a trace also:

Steps	Description
1	Run the file pcbaconsole.exe, which is located in the folder <LW>:/<Program files>/Common Files/Siemens/IT4Industry/PCBATrace).
2	Start WinCC and open the picture in which the ActiveX control "IT4Industry_Control_V4.DP_PN_DIAG" is inserted into.
3	Choose in the PCBAConsole under Trace -> Settings which Trace release you would like to see.
4	Choose a component. With the hook "Enable" you can switch on and off the Trace for this component. Additionally, you can determine the Trace depth. Under "Chat" everything will be displayed. Under "Assertion" only the errors will be displayed.
5	With help of the shortcuts in the tool bar, you can activate, delete, stop and filter the recording of the Trace.

In the white scree the MLFB, Hardware- and Firmwareversion should be shown (read out from CPU online). Please export the cfg-File from HW-config and parameterize it in the ocx again. You could also attach your cfg-file (of a 416-2 CPU) and I can test it as well. Wüstenräuber
