r2407 Posts: 111 Rating: (0)	Dear experts, im beginer in PCS7. I have studied alot manual, now i want to know how is the communication of 2 or more CPUs in DCS system? for example one is master others slave, how some data can be accesses from another CPU... Also let me know to communicate between them we need any special block or not. If you know good sources i would appreciate your help. Regards

Is it possible that CPUs communicate through Industrial Ethernet Tnx Yes, Industrial Ethernet is the main form of communication in PCS7 between various Controllers/PC stations etc. For Master/Standby communication in CPU's a fiber optic link is used.
