Spidnle like axis in T,S,M screen

We have a turning table that can be used as positioning table. Our customer wants to work in JOG with the table but using it as positioning table. If we use M70 to convert from Spindle to Axis in T, S, M screen, the table is converted in axis but again return to spindle. How can we make to keep always as axis when we use M70 in T,S,M screen. Thank you,

Mr_Al Advanced Member Joined: 12/29/2011 Last visit: 8/9/2023 Posts: 39 Rating: (9)	In the TSM screen using the select key (Looks like a horse shoe) in the spindle direction field you can select spindle positioning mode and then input an angle for the spindle to position/move where you would normally input the spindle speed. Hi, You can define the default status of the table axis (sometimes needed as a spindle or axis) by MD 35020 SPIND_DEFAULT_MODE. SPIND_DEFAULT_MODE = 3 ==> Axis mode You can define the activation/deactivation of this default mode by MD 35030 and 35032, please check further information of these MD in the documentation (or OnlineHelp).
