I know it's not the way you wanted it, but wouldn't using Conectivity Pack to retrieve the data and send it to another reporting tool do the trick? Best regards, Danielle

I'm working on my own reporting tool (using ASP.NET technology) in conjunction with Connectivity Pack. Maybe it's for the best that you can't use MS reporting tools with WinCC

Since I work for an integrator, we constantly need new confgurations and reports, but so far we aven't found a ready to use softwre which got us all we need... There's ever an easy tool... and there's absolutely no plug-and-play... its quite the opposite: we usually spend a lot of time configuring reports for customers... Best regards, Danielle

You can buy D@taMonitor for sure and programm excel, but this just not for my needs. So the only way is to do something you need by yourself. I know my customers and their need so I dont have any option but to write something my own. ASP.NET is like my hobby so there is no big problems here The only problem is time. I never ever used any 3rd party reporting tool. Long time ago I wrote reporting tool using PHP, but its just need upgrade . So I'm out of suggestions and still thing that the best tool must be D@taMonitor. It just my thoughts...

I don't know reasons and the licensing. Some years ago, I've asked Siemens support about that, but they also couldn't tell. Nothing is said about Reporting services in licenze disclaimer. So I'm really losts in that case

Saradhi Posts: 303 Rating: (3)	But SSRS 2005 having lot of limitations while rendering trends, if your are successful of installation of SSRS 2005 also it is waste. I achieved SSRS 2014 services to retrieve all the taglogging, alarm and archives also. This will work for all wincc version which having back end tool as SQL Server 2005 and above. I didn't with SYBASE.
