SQL and Excel

João Gervásio Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	good afternoon i have a question, in wincc on the alarm logging we need to do it all by hand. i generated a table in the excel that when i put a conveyor belt it gives me the four kind of alarms i need, and i would like to add the alarms on that table to the alarm logging in an automated form. is that possible? on the image shows the table i created Attachment untitled.JPG (164 Downloads)

bala_nemate Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	try to use configuration tool for excel ( i think, it is in options section, when installing wincc) it have sheets for tags, alarms and so on.

bala_nemate Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	then try to do deeper rtfm :). this tool for sure does import data back to wincc. i use it all the time to create my tags alarms and archyves.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi João, You can install Configuration Tol from the WinCC installation media. You'll find it under "additional software". Once you have it installed you'll create a folder for the project. When you do this, all data (configuration data, not online data) from the WinCC project is imported into the excel file. You can then edit the data, including alarms, tags, archives, etc. After editing you'll find on the menu the options "write tags", "write alarms", etc., which will load all the changes you performed in excel into your WinCC project.
