Hi,

 I wanted to do chinese(taiwan) language in TP1500 Comfort. Project settings are done as per manual and working ok in simulator on PC.

But in HMI its shows as "square box" instead of actual actual text. Which "font" i need to select in runtime selection ? Also do i need to install any language to HMI via prosave/hmi maintenance option ?

If so where can i get "taiwanese" language file ? I could able to see only chinese,korean,japanese under tha path-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Siemens\PTProSave\AddOn

In case any other language required and not available in "addon" what is the procedure?

The mentioned font is not available in Tia. Where can I see the language and font recommended ?

Do I need to install the font to HMI ? If so where can I get the file ?

Sorry, i could not understand properly.  I have tested the panel with "MingLiU" only. But square box were coming in HMI. In PC simulation is ok.

Am not able to understand the suggestion-> "If the Checkbox for Enable font Download is set then you could just use the Language and it will be downloaded automatically."

Can you please share some screenshots for taiwanese / vietnamese language?

Am sharing the screenshot of my language RT settings screen, kindly suggest any mistake or where can see download option ?

Thank you for the answers and links. There was some confusion / mistake from my side to understand the requirement. Basically i was trying with chinese (taiwan) language instead of THAI language.  "chinese (taiwan)" is working ok with the font "MingLiU" . as you told.

Now if am trying for THAI language, it is not working by default. So i got information from my colleague that the font option of all the text in the project where need this language switching should support both the language. 

That is if i configured required font under "configured font" also  entire project text font will be as per default font. which may not be supported by all the language. So we need to update the font in all the screen manually.

After setting he "configured font" as per requirement, i configured the same font for  "default font" also. But the project text is not changing. So i changed everything manually and found working.
