Stabilize the temperature reading...

acik Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I am using the AM2 RTD + Pt1000 probes. The probes are far away from the Logo! The temperatures that I read are very unstable: I read 25... 27... 24... 27... 25... 24... How can I stabilize this readings ? Can I apply a capacitor between the inputs (and maybe between inputs and ground) ? Is there a way to calculate the average in the Logo! ? Thanks.

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, Don't use a capacitor because the AM2 RTD can not detect the connected sensor anymore at Power ON. In LOGO! 0BA7 use the FB "Analog Filter". In LOGO! 0BA6 goto www.siemens.com/logo and try the example to stabalize an analog value. This example you can find in the application examples on the right hand side of the LOGO! Internet page. Hope this helps
