Following the steps of the manual for using SIMOSIM (find attached the screenshot), I satisfy all the requirements but the "Start SIMOSIM" is always disabled. What is the problem? Sorry, it is quite obvious now but I am a new simotion user... I thought the requirement was SIMOTION SCOUT of version at least V5.1. Instead it's the firmware version of the DEVICE you want to simulate that must be at least V5.1. See attachment. Attachment Solution.JPG (408 Downloads)

If you don't want to do an upgrade from your simotion D -device, it is also possible to install (older) other versions from simosim. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109480700 please note: simosim V5.2 got some more optimization in performance, … If needed some more information about connection via OPC-UA (for example also together with PLCSIM Advance) please let us know
