Start string from "Send_PTP_DB_1" at beginning

ko_cha Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I use"Send_PTP_DB_1" block with CM1214+S7-1200. I store data in DB using string. but when I send out strange charecter is occure. For example I want to send word INPUT OFF but is word come out from serial port þm INPUT OFF what is pm?, how can I cut this strange from my output. Thank you Cha

ko_cha Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your reply. But I am not so clear. Could you please explain more or give more example. The next problem I faced are The maximum LENGTH is limited. I cannot send the long string. I fix problem by send many times but problem is still occure. When I send 2 times 1st - hello my name is siemen 2nd - good bye actually string "good bye" should be come out from serial output when I command 2nd but output is good byename is siemen It mean the last input is still there. How can I do that Thank you so much

This screenshot proved the most helpful: Change Tag_30 to "Always_ON" from your system memory bytes so it is always enabled. Change BUFFER input to : "Data_block_1".DBX2.0 BYTE 20 (the 20 is the length of your string, so change to be the max length of your string) Change Tag_5 to be the actual length of your string,"Data_block_1".in1 For testing, you can hardcode tag_5 to be the actual length, like 20. For the REQ line, you want to only issue a request to send provided your SEND is not already sending. Check the STATUS, ERROR and DONE outputs to enable or disable the REQ input. Hope this helps get your data flowing.
