Status/Force connection drop down box does not show S7-1200 connection while simulating

Hunting for Knowl... Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am creating 1 project for TP900 device in TIA (any version is fine V11 or V12) and configured 1 status/force on screen. I am adding 2 connections 1. S7-1200 2. S7-300/400 While simulating only S7-300/400 apears in selection of drop down box of connections. S7-1200 does not come in drop down at all. If we configure only 1 connection of type S7-1200 then nothing apeears in status force for selection. Is status/force functionality implimented in such a way that it does not support OMSP connection(S7-1200-S7plus connection ) and only S7 connection for S7-300/400 is supported? I tried searching online but no where it is mentioned. If anyone have link for same please share that also. Attachment statusforce_S7-1200.JPG (225 Downloads)

Hunting for Knowl... Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Actually I checked that in wincc flexible there was an option to select connection type in status/force it self . It had 3 types of connection for status/force in wincc flexible 1. S5-DP 2. S5-As511 3. S7-300/400 (Mode in pdata file -- fwModeS7) In TIA, S5 connection type is not supported ,it allows to select only S7 connection .So by default only 1 option is left that is for connection type S7-300/400. When I checked in pdata.fwc file 's status/force part ,it does not have anything for S7-1200 connection type in status/force. Only default mdoe selected is fwModeS7 which is for S7-300/400 PLC. So there is no implementetion for status force yet for any other connection type then S7-300/400 in TIA. Thats why it does not show option for selecting S7-1200 connection in status/force Attachment wincc_flexible.JPG (195 Downloads)

QPAS Regular Member Joined: 2/19/2013 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 18 Rating: (2)	I have the same problem with a 1513 CPU and a TP1900 on TIA V13 SP1 update 9. My guess is that it does not support 1200 and 1500 cpu's Any one ? Greetings !
