Status value W#16#7000 with CM1241

I use a CPU S7-1200 1212C with a module CM1241 (241-1ah32-0xb0). First: this article number is not comprised on the hardware catalog of TIA Portal. With Step 7 V11 when go online appear an advice on the screen, but with STEP 7 V12 when i go online all remain green. Second: I attach some picture because the SEND function doesn't work and the STATUS WORD has the value 7000 hex. Third: with hyper terminal the partner work good, The led TX and RX of the CM1241 stay forever OFF. Somebody can tell me why ? thanks for reply Attachment CM1241.zip (392 Downloads)

walter_g Bronze Member Joined: 7/5/2006 Last visit: 3/19/2025 Posts: 183 Rating: (4)	Solved by myself, but i want advice everybody that the PORT number that must be put how parameter on function block like SEND_PTP is the ID HARDWARE and is not so easy to find !!! Why is not indicated on the hardware layout. Here is only displayed the Connector Number (is not useful absolutely). Another thing is that the System Manual S7-1200 (edition 04/2012 rel. A5E02486684-06) is not true because at the chapter 12.3.1.5 the instruction SEND_PTP has different parameter. Also the example program at chapter 12.3.5.3 is not correct. The Status value 7000 hex what is? Will be better if the compilator give a message about the port number parameter if is wrong ! At the end is not possible spend more than one day for the PORT number !!! I don't like TIA Portal, is much more better STEP7 V5.5 BYE

I wondered if this could be due to the fact that we are using6ES7241-1AH32-0XB0 cards but we have6ES7241-1AH30-0XB0 in our HW configs. I am using TIA V12 and cant find the newer6ES7241-1AH32-0XB0 card in the hardware catalog? I have installed the HSPs that I can until updating to SP1 and still no luck.
