depend sif you want or need to use the s7-1200 seriesprocessors for them you need tia |

Step7 is simply great especially for 300 and 400. |

if you don't need the functions of tia then stick to step 7 at least until you hav eto change |

Hi if you need redondant scada server you can't use TIA. On my actual project i have to program PLC via TIA (S7-1200) and develop HMI with WinCC v7 |
