Hello, yes you can use this software for S71200 PLC & Basic Panel HMI programming. Have a look at this Compatibility and necessary components

The MP 177 is not a Basic Panel HMI so it requires WinCC. I am not sure if V11 Pro works, but I believe it does not work (yet). There are FAQs on what the various TIA Portals support. Try some searches to see if you can find the right ones for your specific needs. When I programmed a 10.5 SP2 Portal project with an MP 177, I had to use WinCC Flex 2008. That was rather painful as you could not export tags from the PLC project and required a lot of duplicated effort, and on-going maintenance actions are doubled as well. It's not _too_ much different from the way Basic Panel HMI integrated programming works as you still have to create HMI tags and point them to PLC tags. I'd personally rather just point directly to the PLC tags and skip the HMI tags (pointing to PLC tags) completely, like some of Siemens' competitors do.
