Step 7 professional trial

Patrikk Posts: 131 Rating: (0)	dear all, i have installed a step 7 professional trial on my desktop v5.4. the trial licence will be working for 2 weeks only. do u think if i have ordered an upgrade license for step 7 v5.4, i can install it easily and then i can have a licensed software without any problems ? plz help.

Upgrade allways looks for previous version of your licence and then "turns" (=upgrades") it to a new version......... I would say, that you can not turn your demo licence to a normal licence. It would be too easy and also very "cost effective" (upgrades are much cheaper then full licences; Siemens assumes, that if you have bought an upgrade licence,you allready have afull licence (of previous version)).
