Step 7 Professional V11.0 SP2 installation on Win7/64 freezes

mi3hoja Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi When I installStep 7 Professional V11.0 SP2 on Windows 7 64-bit, the installation freezes at 2 minutes remaining... (The animation/graphics is still alive) Does anyone have any idea what this could be? See attached picture. /Jacob Attachment 2 min remaining.jpg (373 Downloads)

I clicked on the window to activate it, pressed a lot of keys & key combinations, space bar. I cycled through running applications using alt-tab to see if something was hung. Eventually it continued running to completion. If you choose to reinstall, try disabling your network access temporarily while you perform the install, then after install completes, enable the network again.

mi3hoja Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi Tanks for helping me... I tried to uninstall Step 7 Professional V11.0 SP2 and WinCC Professional V11.0 SP2, after this I tried to install just Step 7 Pro. V11.0 SP2 but the problem with freezing installation process remains. But this time I did a little investigation and find that a service called s7epaesx.exe *32 has bin running around 50% in approximitly 8 hours. Why? And what can I do to prevent this? TomDeWou Platinum Expert Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (168)	What happens if you just close the S7epaesx.exe via Task manager? This is only the configuration window for the memory cards paramter assignment. Then the setup might proceed. Did you test this?
