MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Hello FatRich, you can have installed both Step7 Basic / Professional V11 along with your Step7 v5.5 or v5.4. As for the opening, I don't think you can do that. You are able to migrate projects from Step7 v5.5 or v5.4 SP5 using the Project > Migrate Project, I don't know about v5.3. Anyways, if you migrate the projects, I believe you won't be able to open them in the lower version anymore or it's gonna cause you some issues at least, so be careful and safe with backups and consider how many people with what software do work the projects etc. More can be found here http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/50204569.
