Step5 under WINXP

lauryl Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem to start Step5 under WinXp SP2. When I will start up Step5 (v7.17), it just turn on black window and nothing else happend. Autorization is on drive C. Can someone help me?

For Windows XP SP2 you need at least v7.23 Beneath you can find a list for more information about compatibility: Compatibility of STEP 5 versions with Windows operating system

aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Hi If buying new license and software is a problem .. you can start-up in dos mode , We use a USB stick ( from Siemens) to boot in dos and then start Step 5.You do have make you USB stick bootable and your PC has te be able to boot from USB Eric
