Step7 5.4 SP4 update menu

Hello,

whatever the reason is for "in order to activate the menu update, you have to restart the Simatic manager" message, you can update your hardware catalog in a different way without that hassle, just do the following steps:

- Bring up "HW Config" window by double clicking on "Hardware"

-Go to "Options", "Install HW updates ..." (If you are doing this for the first time. it asks you for some details on where to download the update, if for further openings you want to see the window again, just select "Settings..." on the bottom of this windows.)

-Press on "Execute" and select the package to be updated, after finishing this procedure just install the update via this windows("Install Hardware Updates")
