STEP7 Basic V10.5: Migration of a WinCC Flxible project

Hi All,

First of all let's make some things clear.

STEP7 Basic V10.5 is equipped with WinCC V10.5.
Documentation can be found here, but you have to a registered user to make a PDF document.
See also chapter 1 for migration.

Then, as can be read in the manual, the only WinCC Flexible projects that can be migrated have to meet the following requirements:
* The winCC flexible project must be a standalone project, not integrated in STEP7.
* The panel must be a Basic Panel with ProfiNet. So if you used another type of panel, first convert it to a Basic Panel with PN.
* The project must be saved as a WinCC flexible 2008 project. Not WinCC flexible 2007 or 2008 SP1.
* Migration from a WCF projectis always to a new project.
* Be sure you closed the project in WCF before doing a migration. It is not necessary to close WCF.

After migration is succesful more work has to be done if your original panel was not a Basic Panel.
