probably impossible. Consider that You must configure HW via some interface, define kind of system procedures and memory address mapping. This all is implemented via Step7. I don't see problem to start with SCL programing language which is one structure language close to that needs. On other side, there are many solutions how to connect externally to PLC looking to its memory, there is place how can f.ex. Visual Basic and other higher languages be usable.

No problem with talking about this, question was Without Step7 and only Visual Basic. We know other possibilities with C/C++ (some questions we solve on other thread) and other languages.

If I understand you want to program with Visual C or something like that a process with Siemens I/O.
