Step7 (TIA) + WinCC(TIA)

gleb_miklin Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello. One question about structure tag compilation from Step V13 to WinCC V13 Does any one know is that function is already worked in TIA? To clerify my questionI will try to explane how this function work in Step7 (v5) +WinCC7.X: You have to install AS-AO Engineering and then you have got possibility to compile tags from Step to WinCC. In DB you have to activate "Operator Control and Monitoring". I use this compilation before creating FB with multiinstance DB. And after compilation I have structure tag in WinCC.

As far as I know and can tell, this is built into the way portal works. If you have a structure, WinCC can see it without any problems. When you point an object in the HMI to a PLC tag, it automatically does all the work for you in the background. There are attributes to set for DBs to make them either accessible or not accessible to the HMI. If they are not set, the HMI (WinCC) cannot access them symbolically. Does this help?

Yes you right in HMI(WinCC) in TIA I can find and link any values from PLC block ( if they have attribute Visible in HMI) and TIA automaticaly create tag for (in) WinCC. It is cleare. I can't find function in TIA how to create structure tag ( same structure with instance DB) like it was before in WinCC 7.X.- I mean when you have one FB and several same DB in PLC code and one faceplate in WinCC. Before you will need to change in script name of structure tag ( symbole name of DB). Maybe TIA create other way to work with data for faceplate Attachment WinCC.jpg (208 Downloads)

gleb_miklin Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	In Step7+WiCC7.X all property had to be adjusted on PLC side. In Step V13 I couldn't find same property for DB and FB like it was in Step 5.X. It is hard to explain by words. I had prepared file with pictures to describe function what I still looking for in TIA StepV13+WinCCV13. K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, It's only possible with S7-1200/1500 not S7-300 unfortunately. In your case, you can add a hmi udt (in libraries > types) with the same structure as your plc udt. If you change anything in the plc udt you have to change it in hmi udt manually. K!ke
