step7 v5.4 and v11

When I install the board, while 5.4 v11 v11 i do not restart the program after making the selection of open or close my cpu getting a warning that says we should. Thanks..

Warns about executing the restart or close to V11. V5.4 does not work this time. I want to use both at different times on the same computer software. Not both at the same time. Thanks.

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings What is your OS: WinXP, Vista or Windows 7? Both programs can be installed on one computer usually, so this is probably problem with your computer or OS.Maybe you should think about using VirtualPC or VMware... Best regards

Maybe you have some error message ? Indeed it is compatible on one computer as its stated here . When you tell us that V11 wants to restart or close I think it generates and error. This should be send to a support together with a diagnostic folder. Open support case as it is internal error of V11. By the way, did you installed SP2 for V11 ? Service Pack 2 for STEP 7 V11 Updates for STEP 7 V11 SP2 and WinCC V11 SP2

If behaviour remains, open support case as you are not having compatibility issue, but TIA is crashing. We can't do much here.
