step7 v5.5 sp2

As you all will know, the old Step 7 V5.5 version does not like that. But the V5.5 sp2 can be installed on 64 bits machines. My guy has a "normal" license, and I only have the v5.5 sp2 included on a dvd which installs the pro version. My question. When I pop in the Step 7 pro dvd in the machine, can I choose to only install the Step 7, and not the graph and simulator. And will that work with the license key?

Cicero Gold Member Joined: 10/10/2005 Last visit: 3/16/2023 Posts: 1909 Rating: (132)	Hello, there are STEP 7 Basic V5.5+SP2 (with license for STEP 7 Basic) and there are STEP 7 Professional 2010+SR2 (with license for STEP 7 Professional). If you instal STEP 7 Basic V5.5+SP2, you have only STEP 7 which is compatible under Windows 7 64 Bit. If you instal STEP 7 Professional 2010+SR2, you have STEP 7 V5.5+SP2, S7-GRAPH, S7-SCL and S7-PLCSIM. All software moduls are compatible under Windows 7 64 Bit. With best regards Cicero
