ionut.b Bronze Member Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 10/6/2020 Posts: 289 Rating: (3)	I use STEP7V5.4SP3 to configure communication between S7H system and 2PC (WINCC RT V7.0). I have the following questions. I have purchased 2 x 6GK1161-3AA01 but I can't find them in HW (STEP 7). Also I have puschased 2 x 6GK7443-1EX11-0XE0 and again I can't find the version I need (V2.7) 1. How to add them in HW? I have tryed with HW updates but my versions aren't in the list. Both PC have installed SIMATIC NET 2008 + CP1613 A2 + WINCC V7.0 RT. Between CP443-1 and CP 1613 A2 i use 4 x SCALANCE X202-2IRT (because there are 2 paths of fiber optic). When I try to add SCALANCE X202-2IRT in HW , I get message - not PROFINET IO system. What is wrong? Attachment hw.JPG (252 Downloads)

But anyway, you don't need it for the CP443-1, the newFW V2.7 isn't in the HW catalog, there's no additional feature, just correction of some troubles. You could use the V2.6 in the HW configuration. Imho the same is for the CP 1613 A2, you could use the highest you have in the HW catalog (e.g. -3AA00 with the highest SW#). Additional information here. Also you'll need the S7-Redconnect SW. What is wrong? Answer: In HWconfig right click on the PN port of your S7 CPU and select "Insert Profinet system". You'll then be able to add the SCALANCE X202-2IRT to it.

I'm afraid the old CP 443-1EX11 hasn't the Profinet IO controller, this feature is in the CP 443-1EX20. Strange is that you buy this old CP, because it's in the discontinuation phase since October 2008. We also bought this, but as a part ofthe assembled automation station for older PCS7 (V6.1). There for it's not possible to add you ntework components in such a HW-Config. Even not if you install a newer version of the CP443-1EX20which is supporting PN IO it's not possible to add... The only way to diagnose this X200 is to add a SNMP OPC Server license to your WinCC station to capture SNMP traps and to view the SNMP variables you want. The advantage of SNMP over PN IO diagnostics is that you display every feature you want since the SNMP variables are more detailed then the PN IO Diagnostics. Disadvantage is that it is a little bit more work.

I am not interested in diagnostics, just a "wire". So I will not add them to HW or NetPro. So I don't need to configure them at all, no IP no MAC. Still I am interested to use the Redundant coupling of the two pahts of fiber optic that I have with SCALANCE X202-2IRT. Imagine two of these panels mounted at both ends of the two paths of FO. At one end the RJ ports go into the two CP 1613 A2 (two PC) and at the other end the two RJ ports receive signal from the two CP443-1. I connected the other two RJ ports together in orderto close a ring. I presume that at both ends one of the two SCALANCE must be a Redundancy manager (button RM). This way if one FO path fails the other one can still transmit (presuming that SCALANCE is working ok). What do you think? This way the two WInCC RT will see the same data. I think it won't workthis way (you are very close to making it work though). Rule number ONE is that there must be only ONE Redundancy Manager in the ring. Your setup will work if enable redundancy manement on only ONEyour 202-2 IRT switch(and nomiate one of the RJ45 ports as part of the ring and one of the FO ports as part of the ring). What I would do though is to have the (ring) FO cables connected to only ONE 202-2 IRT switch andmakeit the RMvia its FO ports (and keep the other 202-2 IRT as a spare). I hope this helps andalso recommend you have a read through the latest Scalance X200 manualwhich has some very good info on redundancy setup possibilities and also the difference between MRP (Media Redundancy protocol - which is what I would use) and HSR setups (High Speed Redundancy, which is actually slower than MRP).
