storage plus v1.1

irkham.junaidi Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	Dear Expert We use PCS7 V6.1, The Redundant OS Server send the archive data to SIMATIC Storage Plus V1.1 running on the the Windows XP Proffesional. When we install, we set the Storage plus database name as "COAL" and the system automatically create the online archive database file name as COAL.LDF and COAL_D.LDF . The file COAL.LDF currently grow up to > 15GB, how to reduce this database file ?. The history data already "BACKUP & DETACHED" in the other media. We already perform 1. Delete online archive " DATE UNTIL xx.xxx.xxx " with error " Cannot connect to storageplus server please try to correct the connection setting, or contact your storage plus administrator. Database Error : invalid column name " from time", invalid column name " To time "" 2. Delete online archive " ALL ONLINE DATA " with successful result. but the file size COAL.LDF is not change. best regards irkham junaidi .

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi please have a try within the Storage administration > System configuration > computer here you can define the size, I gues that 15 GB were entered here => please use a smaller value like e.g. 50 MB nemo
