string display on WinCC RT Advanced V11

yanikita Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi Experts, Iam currently working on a project with: - IPC427C (Window Embedded Standard SP3 with WinAC RTX and WinCC RT Advanced V11). - 1 KTP600 Basic PN. Communications have been chececked and are ok between KTP, PLC and WInCC... I want to display a string tag on one screen from WinCC RTA (and in one report) but it doesnt display anything. I have the same tag displayed in the KTP and the value is updated according to PLC. In "ktp.jpg" is the configuration of the I/O field in the KTP. In "ktp_to_plc.jpg" we see that the value entered on the KTP is properly received in the PLC in DB300. In "plc_to_wincc.jpg" we can see that the value in the PLC is not display on the WinCC screen even it s a copy/paste from the I/O field from the KTP. Does anybody have idea about that... Thanks for your help. Regards, YM Hello yanikita, I would initially suggest to make the mode of the I/O field as I/O instead of Output. So that you can test if the data is being entered into the PLC atleast. If this works then you can make sure that the tag linked with WCC RTA is correct. Only there should be some hinderence with the displaying of the string. Can you pls check this and get back?

I received the string data from I/O firlds on TouchPanel. But I would like to be able to export them in csv (or txt) file on event trigger. How to do that? Is it possible to use "printreport" for that? Because when I use Data Log (Historical Data) and I specify a string data it tell me "Tags of this type cannot be logged" Thank you for help. Regards. yanikita Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Good morning, Actually I use WinCC RT Advanced (on IPC427C) so the link doesnt help me. I asked siemens support about this point. The strings data were used in one recipe (with synchronisation activated) thats why it was not working... Thx for support. YM
