String logging in WinCC Professionnal V12

I would like to register the name of the recipe used at the beginning of the shift or when the recipe is changed during the day. Also, I would like to log comments from the operator during production Best regards

Have a look at... http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28937150 Also, you can embed tag values in Alarm Messages - then just log the string tags as alarm messages. regards, Jimmy
