String more than 254 chars

gusbarciela Advanced Member Joined: 9/16/2014 Last visit: 2/13/2025 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, several tags that we need to communicate with a device in OPC UA (PLC is server) are strings but their length is more than 254 bytes (about 1000 characters) Are there any way to manage very long strings?

If you do not specify a length, the length of the WSTRING is set to 254 characters by default. You can declare a length of up to 16382 characters (WSTRING[16382]).
