Stuxnet Problem

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (994)	Please find attached the Helpfile of the tool, have a look at point 10: ==============Helpfile: ================ Follow these instructions to start a scan. Requirements and limitations Zip files are created in PKWARE format. Files in ZIP64 format are not scanned. Nested zip files are not scanned. Procedure Start "CleanUpZip.exe". Click the "Select start directory" button. Select in the following dialog the directory you want to check. The tool will scan this directory and all subdirectories for zip files. Click the "Select output directory" button. In the following dialog, select the directory for the tool’s output. In this dialog, you can also create a new directory, e.g. "Scan-2010-12-01" The tool will save the following files in this directory: "__CleanUpZip_Scan.log" "_suspicious__.log" for each suscipious zip file "_unchecked__.log" for each zip file which could not be scanned. Click the "Scan" button. The tool will start and perform the following actions: Disable all buttons Search for directories and subdirectories Search for zip files in the directories and subdirectories Scan zip files for suspicious files Enable all buttons Each of these steps is shown in the status bar. Depending on the size of the directories and the amount of files and especially zip files, this can take some time. Click the "Exit" button to close the tool. If the tool reports suspicious or unchecked zip files, open the output directory and check the correspondent files listed under step 4. Look for the following files in the suspicious files: cc_alg.sav cc_tag.sav cc_tlg7.sav db_log.sav s7hkimdb.dll mdmcpq3.pnf oem6c.pnf oem7a.pnf mdmeric3.inf mrxcls.sys mrxnet.sys s7p00001.dbf s7000001.mdx xr000000.mdx If your find one of these files in the zip file, it is possibly infected by Stuxnet. In this case, continue with step 10: Unzip the infected files and clean it with your antivirus tool.

Thank you for your attention. add more to IBN-Service, - up-to-date virus scanner as per released compatibility matrix only. and up-to-date Virus definition regularly. I know few users who do it every other day.. virus definitions arereadily available on every antivirus site for related package. - switch of "automatic update" feature of the Windows administartion - check compatibility and effect of security pages on Siemens Service Support Website before installing. - some users now have shifted to use PS2 mouse instead of USB mouse to protect the system.as same USB port can be used to insert removable media. Iread that now security of Control systems standard ISA 99 shall now address the issues like warms,viruses and threats refer the link http://www.isa.org/InTechTemplate.cfm?Section=Standards1&template=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=85577
