We are currently designing a machine with Siemens 840D sl with a built-in type spindle motor. As Seimens does not provide suitable encoders for Spindle appplication. We are looking for manufacturers for tooth-wheel encoders that have proven interface with Siemens Drives. Please suggest possible names.

The below three makers where suggested in the configuration manual as the suitable third party encoders. We have chosen one among these.

We now need to finalise the specification of the number of pulses/rev. The encoder maker produces several pulse rings in different diameters and PPR specifications. The most suitable one for our design in terms of size was 200 ppr 1 Vpp A/B R. When I checked the manual for configuring the encoder I could not find a encoder number to be entered in p0400 for this specification. The available ones are
