What is the SunSpec Modbus protocol? Maybe someone worked with this. How is it different from the standard RTU?
I need to communicate with the device using this protocol. I do not know where to begin.

I use:

CPU 1217;

TIA Portal V15.

as sunspec only offers the specification after registration, it is not so easy to answer. Have you got the sunspec specification? If yes, please attach it.

As I understand it, it's a normal modbus RTU. Simply distinguished the general standard for devices. The developer in the documentation has noted this as a "different" protocol. So the brains started to boil.
