Hey, I am confused whether W747-1 supports iPCF feature or not. In IKPI-2012, it says it does not support iPCF but it supports iPCF-MC. But in the online product list it says it supports both. So, I am confused whether I can select this or I have to select W747-1RR. In my application there are 2 Access Points W788-1RR feeding to 2 RCoax segments. The Client Module sitswithin a ET200M cabinet which moves along a rail. I need ProfiNet communication. Do I need to select W747-1 or W747-1RR? regards, rajudon |

Hello, If you look to the tab "technical data" of both products, it seems that Both the W747-1RR: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27237078/td and the W747-1 : http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25520459/td support iPCF and iPCF-MC (with latest FW versions). And that the main difference is the IP65 versus IP20 design of these clients. |
