Switching of an axis from a movement mode in a positioning mode

Dima_FDA Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	All greetings! I am engaged in start of installation of winding of hot metal. Metal moves about speed of 7 metres per second and gets to winding. In winding metal is reeled up on a drum. After metal will terminate, it is necessary to turn a drum on set angle. At me it has turned out to execute change of an operating mode of an axis from rotation in a positioning mode. During drum movement when the command on positioning moves, the drum turns on set angle. However to me it is not clear, why the drive brakes in the beginning with the big acceleration (from 152 turns to 53 turns), then is dispersed with small acceleration (from 53 turns to 90 turns) and then moves to the set position??? Reason: first time when changing to position controlled,following error is ~0. Then the following error encrease --> and after ~53 turns in your case,closed loop decrease following error. What is to do: necessary are"optimized" value for VTC and PTC (closed loop). PTC: delay PROFIBUS, (or PN),plus Ti, To,clock-rate IPO ... Please calculate this delay and after this you can make fine tuning.

My drive SINAMICS S120 is connected to controller SIMOTION D445 on network PROFIBUS and works in a synchronous mode. When the drive works in the closed contour of speed - no problems are present, dispersal and braking works perfectly. When I start an axis in a positioning mode on the fixed value 360 degres - no problems are present. The problem arises when the axis passes from movement in positioning.
