It is Possible to Have the Symbol Table in the PLC Cpu .

In load memory of the CPU, when you save a project, only the code and data are saved. So when you upload the CPUs program your symbol file is not available.
However, on the MMC or ROM cards used as load memory, as long as they are selected large enough, you can in addition save many types of files, including your symbol table. Here is how the Programming with Step 7 v.5.4 manual explains the isse, using MMCs: This way the information can be located in the load memory for future use.

With STEP 7 you can store the data for your STEP 7 project as well as any other kind of data (such as WORD or Excel files) on a SIMATIC Micro Memory Card (MMC) in a suitable CPU or a programming device (PG)/PC. This allows you to access project data with programming devices that do not have the project saved on them.
Requirements
You can only store project data on an MMC if it is inserted in the slot of a suitable CPU or a programming device (PG)/PC and there is an online connection established.Be sure that the MMC has enough capacity to accommodate all the data to be stored on it.
Data that can be stored on an MMC
After you have determined that the MMC has enough capacity to accommodate all the data to be stored, you can transfer all data visible in the operating system's file explorer to the MMC. These data can include the following:
• Complete project data for STEP 7
• Station configurations
• Symbol tables
• Blocks and sources
• Texts managed in many languages

• Any other kinds of data, such as WORD or Excel files
