My project needs a special type of recipe.. I'll collect  file names of a directory to use as a Recipe Name.. 

How can I fill the filenames fill the Symbolic I/O field combo box..

I could not find a way to fill the Symbolic I/O field combo box on HMI runtime via VBScript?

have you tried to use dynamic text lists?
This is the only way I know, which addresses your needs.

One downside will be, as far as I know, that you have to specify the length of the list.
Changing the length of the list at runtime is therefore not possible.
