Symbolic I/O field trouble on WinCC Prof V12 SP1

Gabrielsilva Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I've created some screens in a project using WinCC Prof V11 and inserted a symbolic I/O field that when i select the "layout" parameters on it's properties i can select "show text list" on symbolic I/O field, as shown in 1st picture of attachment but now i'm using Wincc Prof V12 SP1 in an other project and i can't select text list and some functions on toolbox elements are missing, as shown in 2nd picture. Can any one explain me what happens? How can i insert a symbolic I/O field like used in 1st project? Is there any I/O field i can use text list? Thanks. Attachment Wincc V12_SP1.jpg (466 Downloads)

In V12 you use a Basic Panel. With Basic Panels there are a lot of settings different to other panels. The Basic Panels are the lowest Level of the Simatic Panels an the don´t support all the settings and all Screen objects. in an basic panel the symbolic IO field is not shown with a dropdown list in runtime. when you klick on it in Runtime there appeares a new screen with the Textlist Items. Set Your V12 Project to a Multi or Comfort Panel and then you can use the same settings as in the V11 Screenshot. good evening Murof

m_turk Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Yes, it is different in Basic panels. But the textlist will show if you click on symbolic I/O.. Did you create/copy your textlist to that panel?

I was trying to select screens by symbolic I/O field in a KTP Basic HMI and a i solved it using event "change", function "activate screen by number" at symbolic I/O field, calling a TextList_ScreenNames and using event "loaded", function "set_tag" at each screen listed on TextList_ScreenNames. Thanks all guys!!
