sync Time between HMI and PLC Unified comfort - S7-1200

I have a probleem now went I was testing a machien en setting the time on the HMI to the corect time.

I was disconnected from my plc. When I put the plc time also right this was solved. 

Now I am afraid that if the plc and hmi get no power for a long time the time will no longer be correct.

Previously you could indicate in the connection that the time had to be synchronized between the 2 now this is no longer possible. Now is there any other way how to do this ? I already tried sntp but doesn't work too well. Is here for a newer version for tia 18.

If you have already tried to setup the SMTP the only way i think is to do it "manually" with a Script that read the time from the HMI and set it to the PLC or vice versa read the time from the PLC and set it into the HMI

To set the time in the PLC you have to use the instruction "WR_LOC_T" in your logic

To set the time in the HMI you have to use "DatePrecise.SetTime()"

I hope that someone can give you a better solution

I solved it by troubleshooting the ntp server again. Found the V18 of the library. (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/be/en/view/109780503)
