WInCC Advanced gives a systemalarm if the connection to the PLC is established and also if its down.

you can show an alarm window or alarm view with system alarms to see it.

This systemalarms are eventtriggered. As soon as the system detects (you cannot set a time here) the disconnection or connection the alarm event will be triggered.

How log system alarms are shown you can set in the runtime Settings at-> Alarms-> display duration in seconds
