tag import export tool

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	hi again, did you guys never used tag import export tool ? (which comes with wincc tools) i think at sp4 there is a mistake on that tool, it copies structures wrongly, when u create a structure like : 0.0 int 2.0 int 4.0 double etc... when you copy this with tool it divides it to 2 so you get 0 - 1- 2 insted of 0 2 4 .. when you use it it copies old tags ok but when you create new tag with that structure it goes mad.. can you check it ? or ishere rigth place to tell ?

I used both the Import and Import Overwrite options and it created the tag addresses as expected. Could you create a simple one tag project with your structure and post it here ?

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	i just tried it and yeah it seems ok, maybe the problem was that the : project wascreated in sp2 but was running on sp4, when i tried to tag import export that problem happenned. maybe ?

I'm not sureexactly whichproblems you could have by not using it, but it's supposed to not only convert projects from v5 to v6, but also convert projects from v6 to the latest version.. there should be a reason for that! [:)]

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	i really dont know, that scada network was outside of this city but i will try to find it out when i go back.. i remember that i take some screenshots at the commissioning but couldnt find them out.. i could just find this attachment which is showing wrong objects number. (i think its because its using number of rows from sql so it counts disabled rows too, not a big deal) i will repost when i go there and sit on the computer , thanks for your help anyway Attachment wincc_error_tag2.jpg (305 Downloads)
