HI all, 

I have one problem 

used plc 1215, and hmi 1200 basic. In plc program i create one plc data user type(Udt) , create global db 11 , optimized block is disable, and create one FB and put inOut variable with created udt.

Communication with hmi is with global db 11 , absolute adressing.

I used setBitWhileKeyPressed on button1, sometimes when i remove finger from button, on plc, tag stay on 1, it isnt reseted.

When again push same button1 and remove finger from this button tag is reseted.

Any idea why sometimes tag stay on 1?

I have no idea yet, but tips.

Can you verify that the event on the button is executet every time you press?
If you haven't checked it already, simply set a HMI tag in the press event and output this tags value with an io field.

Yes i try , cylinder go foward, and look in plc tag is 1 and stay.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing.
I don't know was you setup is, so the fact that a cylinder moves don't gives me information (for now) if the press event was executed.
Therefore must I ask, does the "press event" include setting the variable that triggers the movement of the cylinder?
If yes, then we should have a positive check, that the event is executed.

I don't know the answer yet.
As an alternative solution, you can try to set the bit at the "press" event and reset the bit at "release" event.
Does this change the behaviour?
