Hi,

I am looking to synchronise the tags already created in a step 7 project with the HMI tags in a TIA portal project (KTP1000) where it is communicating with.

In the step 7 project the HMI is not integrated, and visa versa. Two seperated projects. 

Using 'Reference projects' can only select TIA projects, so... 

Is there an other option to import the tags created in STEP directly in TIA hmi project?

 yes, it is called proxy-PLC, see Combined configuration with WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7 V5.x or Combined configuration with WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7 (TIA Portel) in separate projects.
