Hope you can help with my problem.

Running Win CC RT Advanced.

I set a bit in an integer PLC tag - call it Tag A - and that triggers a value change in its associated HMI tag. The value change event runs a script that decodes whether a specific bit is set and if it is, it sets an HMI internal boolean tag - Tag B.

Tag B also has a value change event which should run a second script. However this second script doesn't run.

I have proved that the first script actions the event change and that it sets the HMI Tag B. I have also proved that the Tag B value change event doesn't trigger and the second script doesn't run.

Since the reaction time is not important, I could achieve the desired result differently by running the second script on a timed basis from a PLC clock tag but it's not as efficient and I don't understand why my original method doesn't work.

Does anyone have any idea why?
