Taglogging License Problem WINCC 7

JGA Regular Member Joined: 6/1/2007 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello, I migrated from WinCC 5.1 to WinCC 7.0 and I have a problem with the Taglogging License, How can INOT to show the License Window because the TagLogging is working OK. Before (in WinCC 5.1 this license was not necesary). I attached a file with the message. THANKS Attachment LIcense problem.GIF (96 Downloads)

Jaapie Gold Member Joined: 1/17/2006 Last visit: 11/22/2024 Posts: 800 Rating: (63)	Sorry JGA you need an extra archive lisence. In V5 the archive lisence was included. Now you need an extra lisence if you archive more then 512 (?) tags.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, Just as Jaapie said you'll need the extra license. From v6 on all WinCC licenses have an archive license count... If you purchase, for instance, a 64KPtg 512Atg license you're getting 64K PowerTags (external tags) and 512 ArchiveTags (tags which are archived in TagLogging). Licenses always include only 512Atg, so if you need more you need to purchase a "WINCC/ARCHIVE" type license (e.g.: 6AV6371-1DQ17-0AX0 is the archive license for 1500 ArchiveTags in v7). If you already have a "WINCC/ARCHIVE" license and need to expand further, you can get an "Archive Powerpack"... You can get the codes and info on all of these licenses on the online catalog.
