TagLogging problems (WInCC 6.0 SP4 HF2)

I have a Server-Client configuration and i´m trying to watch trends and tables in the Client but i can´t. In the Server everything goes on perfect and in the client, almost everything except for the TagLogging functions. SW in both computers: WinCC 6.0 SP4 HF2. Server: Windows 2003 Server; Client: Windows 2000. I´ve tried almost everything that it´s in my hands to make it work but now i´m totally stuck. I don´t know if this has ever happened to you and if it could have something to do with the installation of a HotFix... Any feedback is appreciated. Everything seems to work perfectly except for the TagLogging applications (tables, trends...). Besides, the trend window appears (but without the trend itself), but there´s this loading bar at the bottom of each trend window increasing and decreasing and also a message that says: "Loading the file" The OCXs (Trend Control and Table Control) appear but without showing the trend and it never finishes the loading procedure... No idea why this happens... Ciao and regards

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, Did you configure the Archive Configuration properly? It seems that your system may just be taking to long to load the packages... Try moving your archives from the original folder, so that as long as WinCC is concerned you have no archives. Activate runtime and see if the system can load the archives then. Look at this FAQ. If the selection of archive / tag is done through a script, take a look at this. You're sure your computer has enough resources, right? And there is nothing in your logs? Check the CPU usage while WinCC is loading the trends... and look at this. Best regards, Danielle

You can access the files of archive folder by Windows Explorer? And mainly, the range selected to display the data of tag logging is very large?

Zeuselix Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi ! I'm having exactly the same Problem. Just the Clients are running under XP SP2. Trends are not working, loading Strip is running all the time). Alarms are working proper. Nothing of FAQ could help so far. Server-Data were generated and loaded on Client. I found out, that problem appears as soon as you install Simatic Net 2006. We need this for using TF-Communication under 2003 Server.
