If I activate taglogging, it generates the same errer. possibly there might be something wrong with your SQL Server. some things you might wanna give a try if you didn't already: 1. after deleting archives & backup of your actual project, use the project duplicator to save the project under a different name & try that one or 2. found something in this forum to solve another TagLogging issue but maybe it can help you too: Before doing so, make a backup copy of your project and then reset the WinCC archives. Open your WinCC Explorer. To reset your archives go to "Start > Run" and enter the command "CCArchiveManager.exe -reset all" then run it. Your WinCC archives are then reset completely.

jm1983 Bronze Member Joined: 12/14/2010 Last visit: 6/28/2023 Posts: 160 Rating: (6)	Hello to all, I am working with the WinCC v6.0 SP3a (from PCS7 v6.1 SP4) and I have been fighting some time ago with this same problem, but in my case this happened to all the projects. Everything was working well but of a moment to another this problem began, when activating the WinCC runtime it was hung loading the Tag Loggin Run Time and also starting from that moment the shortcuts of keyboard of the operating system didn't work, even after restarting the system. Also when compiling the programs STEP7 in the CFC error messages appeared indicating that it was necessary to reinstall the F_Systems pack . Thanks to God i am quite sure of having found the culprit of my misfortunes the "GlaryUtilities registry cleaner ", I checked that the problems of the F-System pack appear after running the registry cleaner,apparently this application eliminates registry keys that doesn't should, i didn't make many tests with the WinCC since it is quite tedious the recovery of the system. My solution was the following one: - I restored the operating system to a previous state to eliminate the problems of the shortcuts of keyboard. - I reinstalled the WinCC just in case and up to now everything works well. Now, I asked to those that have had this problem: you used some maintenance tool of the operating system before it happened this problem? you installed some software package before this problem appeared ?

Kev00000000001 Regular Member Joined: 1/28/2010 Last visit: 11/13/2023 Posts: 7 Rating: (2)	Just had the same problem and managed to solve it, please try the following steps; 1) Create a new OS folder on the problematic server 2) Share the folder and add full everyone rights it 3) Use the simaticrights.exe program on the new folder to recreate the user rights 4) On your ES change the OS path to reflect the new directory you created 5) download the OS to the new folder from the ES 6) rename the original OS folder to something else <- VERY IMPORTANT! 7) reboot the OS server 8) Start the OS from the new directory WAIT, the system may take upto 40minutes to startup at the initialising archive management step. -Kevin

Ich verwende WinCC V7 SP2 Ubd6.

Sukalyan Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	WinCC getting hung while activation can be an issue because the Message Queuing Service not running. Please check whether the "Message Queuing" Service is running while activating WinCC Project. It it is not running then, please run it. Sometime, the Message Queuing get stopped automatically while activating/deactivating the WinCC Project. In this case, Uninstall the "Message Queueing", restart the computer and then reinstall Message Queuing. This will solve the hung issue.

mr.torture Posts: 1 Rating: (1)	Hello community :) I had the exact same problem as mentioned before, and i managed to fix it! First of all , the problem begun when i tried to add an Alarm View, and linked one internal Integer Tag to it - before that everything was going amazing. After that, my project was crashing in any attempt starting runtime with simulator, or anything else. I removed the alarm and any kind of connection, but with no luck. I should also say that i had used a lot of VBScripts in this one, and the solution came when i accidentally erased one of these. Thus, the compiler showed error and when i restored it ( thank god it was a small one :P ) the project finished the compiling process and the simulation begun. Idk if that was helpfull, but i thought i should share it with you :) good luck guys and don't give up - i solved it ( by pure luck, but it doesn't matter :P ) after 21 days!
