TC35i gsm modem: how to send an sms to secified sms port?

denisu Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi!!! Does anybody know how to send an sms from plc to specified sms port using TC35i gsm modem. I am writing java application for mobile phone which catches incoming sms from plc. Certainly i recieve sms on mobile phone, but application on mobile phone can not catch incoming sms messages, becouse application don not know which sms port it should listen.

I need to send an sms message from plcon specified sms port, like port: 3324, using TC35i gsmmodem. I do not know how to do it, using AT commands. If i willsend sms messagefrom plc and iwillnot sepecify ansms port, then sms message will come on mobile phone, but my java application will not intercept an sms message, becouse java application does not know which sms port it should listen. If my application knows that sms message will comeon smsport 3324sms, message will be intercepted.

Please let me try to resume: You want to send a SMS over a GSM Network to a Port (I do understand a Port as a Sub address of an IP Address) Is this what you want? I understand by the mean of SMS the following: If I send a SMS I want to send "mostly" Text, up to 160 Byte, to a Phone number, mostly a cellular Phone number. I can not send a SMS to a IP Address, neither to a Port on an IP Address. If you want to send Data on an IP Protocol basis you needsomething working with IP and Packages.
