Hi all, I made a general FB (FB_Manage_Communication):
If I run the program as it is described above (and shown in attached file as TCON connect parameters defined outside TCON block), TCON doesn´t work. If I instead configure TCON directly on the block (creating an automatic PLC_2_Connection_DB, and shown in attached file as TCON configuration directly on TCON block), TCON works. Can anyone explain why? Feedbacks would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance! AttachmentTCON configuration.pdf (915 Downloads) |

Hi, Did you have the chance of looking to the attachment of my first post? I believe it is very clear of want I intend to do. Currently, and for test purpose, I am only using 2 S7 1500. I want to communicate among them by UDP. If I make the TCON configuration directly on the TCON block, creating an automatic DB, the communication is possible. If I try to create an external DB, withConnection parameters with structure according to TCON_IP_v4, as defined in help system, the communication is not possible. I assume that the information provided in the automatic created DB should be the same as the information stored in the external created DB, or? So the ID, remote IP address, Local/remote port, connection type and interfaceID should be the same, isn´t it? I am probably missing something here… Once again, I thank you in advance for your help.
