TCON TCP Port not available

U_6bda31d6-634d-4... Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I have 1212AC/DC/RLY, and I have a Markem printer, that uses predetermined port of 21000. When I set up TCON with port 2000, it easily connects to HyperTerminal I use for debug. But if I change port to 21000, it does not connect neither to printer nor HyperTerminal. When I do so it warns, that I am putting ip out of 2000-5000 at my own risk, is this it? Is there a way of troubleshoot this and get it working?

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, I am confused...in manual TIA V14 I read for connection description TCON_IP_v4 (which is also used by TSEND_C): range for local Port is: 1 to 49151. for connection desc. TCON_Param: range for local Port at TCP and UDP: 1...49151 possible, the advice is: 2000...5000; So...are you sure, the port number causes your problem? Do you get error from TCON/TSEND_C like W#80A0, 80A1, 80A2?
