TCP communication 313C & 314C

Ultimately I want to implement this in two 313C PLC's with a 343 Lean module installed. Unfortunately I only have one 313C PLC with Lean module and one 314C-2DP/PN. I have been trying to use BSEND & BRECV, but it does not seem to work (because of the 314C has built in ethernet?). Does any one have a simple to use example project for a similar application? So one CPU with separate CP and one CPU with built in connection. I tried setting up a S7 connection in netpro, but it is not letting me chose the ethernet interfaces...

(as described herehttps://a248.e.akamai.net/cache.automation.siemens.com/dnl/DE/DExNTkxMwAA_17628518_FAQ/S7_Connection_en.pdf) I don't get any errors and have status code 0000, but I also don't get any communication (done = 0).
